Session 6

Burnout: Recognizing, Preventing, and Recovering Together

Burnout has become one of the most pressing challenges in today's professional landscape. It affects not only individual well-being but also team performance, workplace culture, and organizational outcomes. This session explores the nature of burnout  -what it is, why it happens, and how we can collectively address it. Through a blend of research, real-world examples, and interactive reflection, participants will learn to identify early warning signs of burnout, understand its root causes, and apply practical strategies to prevent and recover from it. Emphasis will be placed on both individual resilience and systemic solutions that foster sustainable, supportive workplaces. Attendees will leave with renewed awareness, actionable tools, and a sense of empowerment to create a healthier, more compassionate work culture where people can thrive - not just survive.
