With over two decades of dedicated service in fire safety, emergency response, and community risk reduction, Carrie Clark is a missiondriven fire service leader recognized for her strategic vision and commitment to public safety. As Deputy Fire Marshal, she oversees Field Advisory Services, Fire Investigation Services, Technical Services, and the Emergency Response Unit, leading teams responsible for community risk assessments, Fire Code compliance, and largescale fire investigation scenes that create data for future fire safety initiatives.
Carrie has extensive experience managing complex emergency incidents, collaborating with provincial and municipal partners, and guiding fire prevention strategies that strengthen community resilience. Throughout her career, she has advanced through progressive leadership roles—from firefighter and fire investigator to senior officer—earning a reputation for fostering professional development, improving departmental operations, and championing evidencebased fire safety practices.
A certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, Fire and Building Inspector, Fire Officer and Fire Safety Educator, Carrie brings a depth of technical expertise combined with strong publicfacing communication skills. Passionate about prevention, education, and empowering communities, she shares practical insights gained from years of handson experience in the fire service.
